Preparing & Painting on Masa Paper
by Judi Pedder
“I like your DVD – it is everything you said it would be and very informative”
“I have enjoyed your instructions – you have such a nice manner of explaining your process, and your work is lovely.”
“Your DVD arrived, I’ve already started to watch it and look forward to using my masa paper.
It’s very nicely put together and a great presentation on the cover insert with high quality photos, good font, nice proportions, good colours etc.
I was a graphic artist for many years and give it an A+. And what a good idea to include a piece of masa paper so people know what to buy.”

"My landscapes reflect a strong connection to earth and it’s natural beauty, and my need of, and love for, wide-open peaceful spaces. Born under the sign of Pisces, I have a particular affinity for beaches, the ocean and smaller bodies of water, which frequently appear in my work.
I also love to garden and care for house plants. I find that painting a closer, more detailed view of nature provides a stimulating change from landscapes. Painting on Masa paper produces a quite different look to some of my work and always brings questions from curious viewers.
Currently working mainly in watercolours, I like to explore ways of using basic materials to achieve different effects; for example pouring paint and allowing it to blend without my assistance."
